Manuka honey is a premium 100 % natural honey derived from the nectar of the manuka flower (Leptospermum scoparium), a rare plant native to New Zealand. The manuka tree flowers for only a few weeks a year, so the production of this type of honey is naturally limited. One of the best-known naturally occurring substances in Manuka honey is methylglyoxal (MGO™). The MGO rating indicates the amount of methylglyoxal contained in the honey. For this product, the rating MGO™ 250+ guarantees a minimum content of 250 mg of methylglyoxal per 1 kg of honey.

Thanks to its distinctive flavour and texture, Manuka honey can easily be incorporated into your daily diet. It can be eaten on its own or used as a natural sweetener. It goes well with breakfast cereals, muesli, porridge, smoothies, various drinks and desserts. It can be spread on bread or used to make salad dressings in combination with olive oil, mustard, lemon juice and spices.

As this is a natural product, its colour, scent, texture and overall appearance may vary slightly from one production batch to another. Such natural variations are characteristic of products made from natural ingredients.

Application: Manuka honey can be eaten straight away, on its own or as part of a meal. It is suitable for spreading on bread, adding to breakfast cereals, muesli, porridge, smoothies, plant-based drinks and desserts, or as a natural sweetener in various dishes.
