General information about visiting biokari.sk
SSL - Your personal data is transmitted securely thanks to encryption. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system. We secure our website as well as other personal data processing systems with appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, alteration and further dissemination of data by unauthorised persons.
For the operation of the website, the controller uses the services of third parties - so-called data processing intermediaries, who provide technical infrastructure, such as web hosting.

Tracking the pages you visit
In order to process statistical data about the use of our offer in the e-shop and the pages visited, we use Google Analytics from Google, which is certified for data protection in the area of tracking web traffic.

Categories of personal data
Depending on which of our services you use, we collect the necessary information to process them.
If you make a purchase with us, we collect the following data to process your order:
- Name and surname, email address, postal address, billing address, telephone number, language, IP address
Your personal data may be disclosed to a third party if this is necessary for the processing of your orders and the proper performance of the purchase contract. We need your first name, last name, address (home/delivery address), email, phone number. Your e-mail address serves as a means of communication. An order confirmation as well as information about the progress of the delivery of the goods will be sent to the e-mail address provided. In the context of the processing of the order and the performance of the purchase contract, the data is provided to our contracted logistics service providers. The data may only be used by the service providers for the purpose of the performance of the purchase contract. We only process your personal data for the duration of the purpose for which we obtained it.
If you register with us for future purchases, we need the following information to do so:
- Name and surname, e-mail address, postal address, billing address, telephone number, language.
If you subscribe to our newsletter:
- e-mail address, authorization status via the sent activation link, IP address
For sending newsletters we use the so-called double opt-in method. This means that you will only receive them if you confirm the activation of this service by clicking on the link in the email delivered to your email address after you have opted in. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters, you can cancel at any time. Simply click on the link in the footer of any such email or contact our customer support.
Form data
On biokari.sk you can use some forms to transfer data to us, such as a question to the dealer. As long as it is not personal data, this data will be stored in the form fields and statistically evaluated.
Customer account
You can set up your account by registering. In this account you can see the data we have stored about your orders (processed and unprocessed).
Log files
Every time you access the biokari.sk website, the usage data transmitted by your browser will be stored in log files, called Server Log Files. The data sentences stored in this way contain the following data: date and time of access, page URL, IP address, previous URL (so-called referrer), the amount of data transferred, as well as the browser-transmitted User Agent (e.g. type and version of browser and operating system used).
Secure data transfer
V prípade, že máte u nás registráciu, prístup k vášmu kontu je možný iba po zadaní vami zadaného hesla. Disagreement with the use of data
You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in the footer of each newsletter. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out on the basis of this consent prior to its withdrawal.
In addition, the stored personal data will be deleted if you decide to withdraw your consent, if the data processed for the purpose of achieving a specific purpose is no longer necessary or if the storage is inadmissible for any legal reason.
Right to information and other rights of data subjects
You have the right to free information about the processing of your stored data. Subject to compliance with the requirements set out in generally binding legislation, you also have (I) the right to access your personal data, (II) the right to rectification of inaccurate personal data, (III) the right to restrict (block) the processing of your personal data, (IV) the right to object to the processing of your personal data processed for direct marketing purposes, (V) the right to erasure of personal data, in particular if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or if you have withdrawn your consent to their processing and if there is no other legal basis for the processing, or if the personal data have been processed unlawfully.
From the date of entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (i.e. from 25 May 2018), you also have the right to data portability, i.e. you have the right to obtain your personal data that you have voluntarily provided to us in electronic form on the basis of your consent, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, in this context, you may request the right to transfer these data to another controller, insofar as such a transfer is technically possible (right to data portability).
