Royal jelly contains approximately 60–70 % of water, 12–15 % of proteins and amino acids (including all essential amino acids), 10–16 % carbohydrates (especially glucose and fructose) and 3–6 % fatty acids, including significant 10-HDA acid. It is rich in B vitamins (especially pantothenic acid), also contains small amounts of vitamins A, C, D and E. In addition, it provides a wide spectrum minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron or phosphorus.
