A food supplement containing natural bile acids and plant extracts, designed to support digestion and healthy bile function. The enteric-coated capsules dissolve only in the intestine, thereby protecting their contents from the effects of stomach acid.

Composition: dried bovine bile, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), extracts of peppermint, hawthorn, marshmallow root, liquorice and fennel fruit, anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate), gellan gum.

Active ingredients in 3 capsules: Dried beef bile: 300 mg, Peppermint leaf: 30 mg, Common apple tree: 22.5 mg, Liquorice root: 22.5 mg, Hibiscus root: 22.5 mg, Fennel fruit: 22.5 mg.

Recommended dosage: 1–2 capsules 1–3 times a day, immediately before main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), depending on body weight and individual tolerance. Take the capsules only if a meal follows immediately after taking them.

Warning:

• Swallow the capsules whole. Do not open or crush them, as they are designed to dissolve in the bowel.
• Do not take this product during an acute gallbladder attack, if you have jaundice caused by a blockage of the bile ducts, or during pregnancy.
• You may experience mild nausea or diarrhoea during the first few days. If the symptoms persist, reduce the dose or stop taking the medicine.
• It is not recommended to combine this product with other preparations that stimulate bile production.
• It is recommended that you consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Further information: The product has been tested by the WESSLING laboratory and meets the requirements for microbiological purity, contaminant levels, heavy metals and radioactivity. It is lactose-free, gluten-free and casein-free.
