Chamomile tea blend It is used as supplementary supportive therapy in acute problems. It is recommended for various inflammations (list without claiming completeness), internal use: inflammation of the throat, uterus and vagina, joints, sinuses, intestines, bladder, tendons, liver, tonsils, prostate, colon, for colds, and even for headaches. For coughs, inflammation of the throat and tonsils, or inflammation in the oral cavity, it can be used for gargling and rinsing the mouth. Thanks to its high essential oil content, it is also suitable for inhalation for inflammation of the throat and tonsils.
As a large proportion of illnesses have an inflammatory origin, chamomile tea blends are utilised in several areas – for example, for joint problems, multiple sclerosis, enlarged prostate, or Crohn's disease.
Outdoor use: supports wound healing, compresses for bruises, washes for other wounds. Adding it to a bath has a calming effect.
Composition: chamomile flower (50 %), sage leaf, ribwort plantain leaf, marigold, agrimony herb, yarrow herb.
Preparation: Pour 1 tea bag with a cup (approx. 2.5 dl) of boiling water, let steep for 15 minutes, then remove.
Usage: Drink before eating, preferably plain.
Contraindications: During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the dose must not exceed 1 cup per day. During this period, the tea can be drunk for a maximum of 2 weeks continuously, followed by a 2-week break.
