Chia seeds have an exceptional ability to bind water – they can increase their volume up to 10-fold, creating a gel-like consistency. This makes them suitable even as egg substitute preparation of dough, desserts or vegetarian dishes. They are particularly popular in the form of Chia pudding, but you can also add them to smoothies, porridge, yoghurt, soups, muesli, baked goods or homemade energy bars.
Recommended dosage: maximum 15 g of this, a higher amount may cause digestive upset.
