Unlike cultivated varieties, this type of mint also grows in the wild – for example, it is found in larger quantities in the Bükk Mountains. It was one of Gyuri bácsi's favourite medicinal plants. While its scent doesn't quite match other mints, many people have come to like its refreshing aroma, making it suitable for making tea as a refreshing drink.

Preparation: 1 level tablespoon (approx. 3 g) of tea leaves, pour over 2.5 dl of boiling water, steep for 15 minutes, then strain. Do not use a metal sieve.

Internal use: Different types of mint have traditionally been used for various ailments, particularly for gallbladder problems, the digestive tract, and cold symptoms.

Outdoor use: For inhalation when you have a blocked nose and bronchitis. For compresses for bruises and minor injuries.

Contraindications: It is not recommended in the final trimester of pregnancy as it can induce premature labour.

Weight: 100 g
