Mecsek Gallbladder Tea is a herbal tea blend designed for individuals prone to gallstone formation or with insufficient bile production. A carefully selected combination of medicinal plants supports the production and excretion of bile, thereby contributing to proper fat digestion and relieving unpleasant digestive complaints.
Active ingredients
The medicinal plants contained in the tea blend provide:
- flavonoids expressed as hyperoside: 0.4–0.6 %
- tannins: 2–4 %
- glucofrangulin: maximum 0.1 %
- silica: 0.2 – 0.4 ml
The tea blend does not contain artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
Tea is recommended for consumption at any time.
Tea is suitable for reduced bile production or excretion and for alleviating related digestive problems. It is also recommended for people prone to gallbladder complaints.
Tea is not recommended when you have a fever, are pregnant, have an iron deficiency, or are experiencing insomnia.
Do not use tea for lower abdominal pain of unknown origin, inflammatory bowel disease, or intestinal obstruction.
Warnings before use
Before starting to use, the cause of the health problems should be known. If you are unsure of the origin of your symptoms, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Use in children
The safety of use in children younger than 12 years old has not been sufficiently investigated, therefore the tea is not recommended for this age group.
Using with medicines
At the recommended dosage, no interactions with other medications are known.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The active ingredients in tea may cross the placenta or pass into breast milk; therefore, its consumption is not recommended during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
