Tamari sauce is a traditional Japanese condiment that represents Gluten-free soy sauce alternative and excels in its full, slightly salty taste. Thanks to the absence of wheat, it is also an ideal choice for people with gluten intolerance.
Composition: soya beans* (46.5 %), water, salt.
Tamari is produced through a natural fermentation process, during which soybeans are heat-treated, crushed, and then fermented with the help of cultures (koji). This process takes several months, during which the characteristic Deep flavour and aroma. This was originally a liquid obtained during the production of miso paste.
Compared to classic soy sauce (shoyu) wheat-free, ..., and therefore it is also suitable for a gluten-free diet. It can also serve as high-quality alternative to salt when flavouring food.
Application: Ideal for flavouring salads, soups, sauces, pasta, vegetables or Asian dishes. Just a small amount is needed to enhance the flavour.
